After numerous lunch time practices Mrs Mckeever, Mr Taylor and I took the Larwood Cricket team to the cricket festival held at Stevenage Cricket grounds on Thursday 26th September.

On September 25th, some of our year 6 pupils went fishing.
As we prepare to embark upon a new school year I would like to extend a heartfelt 'Welcome back' to all our pupils, parents and carers and hope that everyone had a relaxing and enjoyable summer with friends and loved ones.............

Our children went to Fairlands Valley Park to take part in the annual Bell and Dragon Boat Race with the Larwood tag line in their head - Achieve, Believe, Expect and Enjoy! The children ticked all those boxes and pulled second place out the bag for both races! WELL DONE to the children that represented Larwood, another proud moment!

WHAT IS WORLD BOOK DAY? World Book Day is a day set aside every year to celebrate reading, books, authors and illustrators. It’s marked in more than 100 countries around the world and will be celebrated for the 16th time in 2013Update.
During February half term our computers were upgraded from Windows XP Professional to Windows 7.
On Monday, 25th February 2013, Mr Trimble held an assembly and revealed project ERGOTRON!

EXCITING NEWS! ERGOTRON has landed at Larwood School! The ERGOTRON project was started back in September 2012 and is currently still TOP SECRET! ERGOTRON will be revealed within the next couple of weeks by Mr Trimble.

The offsite activities have started for 2012!
We have started off with Phazer Zone, where my team, the orange team, were up against Mrs Clarkes green team. As you can see from the pictures, my team won with 958 points and the green team scored -1. Everyone had a lot of fun.
Over the next few months we will be going to 360, a HUGE play centre, rubber ringing down the dry ski slopes in Welwyn Garden City, bowling, Hollywood style, sailing, raft building, HiRopes, buggies and boards and some bell boat and dragon boat racing at Fairlands . . . . . plus lots of other things! An exciting year of activities for 2012 and all you need is 65 points a week to take part. Why would you miss out on all this for work club!? :o)
